Frequently Asked Questions

faq
How can I send you my documents?
All you need to do is upload your documents via our contact form - you will hear back from us within 60 minutes during Australian business hours! If you do not have a scanner, try taking photos of the documents with your mobile phone and e-mailing them to us.
How long does the translation take?
You decide! The standard turnaround time is a few days, but we also offer a range of express options, including same-day service. Our motivated team and refined processes enable us to process even large jobs in a few days. The quote that we will e-mail you will include the different options in terms of the turnaround time.
How much does the translation cost?
The required investment for a translation depends on the languages involved, the nature of the text, the formatting requirements, and the deadline. Our clients have often told us that our prices represent excellent value for money. Please contact us now, and you will know the exact price within 30 minutes.
Why Aussie Translations?
  • We reply to your enquiry fast and we deliver your translation on time.
  • Our translators are experienced and qualified in their field.
  • We offer different service levels to meet your output needs and budget.
  • We are Australian-owned and operated, and we will always go the extra mile to make you happy.
Do you only do translations?
For clients like you, we are the one-stop shop for both simple and complex language projects. In addition to translating text, we proofread, copywrite, copyedit, typeset and design. One of our specialities is transcreation - the composition of highly effective copy for foreign markets, while maintaining its intent, style, tone and context. A successfully transcreated message evokes the same emotions and carries the same implications in the target language as it does in the source language. Increasingly, transcreation is being used in global marketing and advertising campaigns as advertisers seek to transcend the boundaries of culture and language.
Do you do interpreting?
Yes, Aussie Translations has an excellent panel of NAATI-accredited interpreters in Australia, and is able to support individuals, businesses, and government authorities in all capital cities and in many regional areas, in a broad range of languages. Click here for more details.
Which languages do you translate?
Over the years, there is hardly a language that we have not translated, including exotic niche languages, indigenous languages from Australia, Southern America and the U.S., dialects and emerging languages.
How can I get my documents to you? What will I get back?
E-mail, upload, fax, post - it's all possible depending on the job. Once we have translated your documents, we will send you a draft for approval by e-mail. The final version is then sent by e-mail and/or post/courier, depending on your needs.
Will I know for sure that my translation is correct?
Unless you speak both languages involved, you will unfortunately never know. However, our translators are all very experienced, and all documents go through a quality control process. For extra peace of mind, we offer back-translation and independent proofreading services.
Do you translate immigration documents?
We do occasionally, but we can also highly recommend The Migration Translators if you have a very specialised immigration enquiry.
